Citrus and mint iced tea
Being a tea lover, I even like to drink hot tea on a hot summer day. I have not appreciated iced tea for quite a while, since I am not a fan of sweet tea and iced teas often contain added sugar. But I do really like the two unsweetened variants I share with you today, especially the Mint and lime iced tea.

Iced green tea with lemon and mint
Ingredients
- 1 l boiling water
- 2 green teabags
- a few lemon slices
- a few sprigs of fresh mint
- ice cubes
Preparation
Bring one litre of water to the boil. Pour the water from the kettle into a teapot and let it cool down for about 2 minutes before adding the teabags. If the water temperature is too hot, the tea will be bitter. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes – depending on desired strength – before removing the teabags. Pour the tea into a decanter and add lemon slices and a few sprigs of fresh mint. Let it cool down completely (in the refrigerator). Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
Enjoy!
